6) Took apart and cleaned Hot water control selonoide (DCCV) with WD-40.
7) Bench Tested ''OK''
Notes: It must of seized-up during summer months,we might want to
exercise this switch during summer.
Coolant hose's scare the shit out of me,this car has more hoses
than I got in my garden!
Make sure you do the coolant bleed procedure for the heater core, else you will not get heat.

The dccv is on the L- front of the lower radiator.
Do a Forum > Lincoln > LS > search forum tool ''DCCV'' , not thread.
http://www.Alldata.com ,has this procedure,my Alldata expired.
Caution - You got to bleed the engine block and heater core, or you will short the coolant.
The Lincoln LS has a self diagnostic test for the DATC, the Jaguar S Type doesn't.

If getting no heat after the replacement, need to bleed the heater core's.
1) Look for a rubber hose next to the coolant reservoir tank, it will have a plastic screw on the end of it.
2) Start engine, and turn Heat on High max.
3) Make sure engine is at normal operating temp.
4) Are you getting Heat for both driver, and passenger?
Caution - Very hot
5) Unscrew plastic screw until asteady flow of coolant.
6) You might need to raise RPM's toget the water pump todo it's job.
