man your VW bus is really cute right from the start!

being a pure ferrari motor head, your works had somehow sway me away into doing cute builds like this...once in a while!

keep going, i hope to see the same kinda opening doors as in the pics!

i'll be watching!

cheers!:licka:

i bought those colors at a local hobby shop. it's model master but the tag with the color code is gone. it was some old stock left that i bought for a dollar each.

very hard to work with, i painted it 3 times. you have to be at least 2 feets to shoot:eek7: and still hard to make it smooth

Paint looks supersmooth.
A nice project. Are you going to use the stock wheels or do you have a surprise for us ?

Are the pics fooling me or is the plastic still shining through along the roof (first and last pic of your painted model) ? I hope not for your sake, because the paintjob looks perfect.

Looking beautiful. There's so much to do with old VWs. So many different, unique cars out there. What're you doing for the wheels?

i will probably put some porsche phone dials or vw bottle caps, still not sure about wich one

as for the paint, as soon as i red derXL comment, i went to look at it and it's probably just an illusion in the picture. everything is fine on the bus. for a couple of seconds, you scared me! lol
