96 concorde trany problem

i have 96 concorde 3.3 it will go dead 2. rad fan stays on 3.the trany stays in 2nd and i replaced the speed sensors and the battery and the coolant sensors

if any one could tell me were to start that would be great! What does code p1490 and p1489 mean and 35 came on 2times when i read the codes off the check engine light

Probaly has a bad axle and I have seen this happen.The customer thought the transmission was bad which they were wrong and the axle was junk.

Did you replace Trans. or TCM? Because Chrysler Requires a Transaxle "Quick Learn" Test if not performed it will Stay in 2nd gear. DRBIII scaner required.
