Eclipses! (video inside)

The first one was a second gen talon with some eclipse body parts actually, but it was n/a. It pulled up next to me and we played around for a while then went from 45 after talking for a while. I just took off low in 3rd and put about 10 cars on him by 100, but the guys were cool.

Later me and a few friends drove out of town a ways and ran his eclipse gt against my car. His eclipse is stock...we have another video too but my friend took off with his camera

good kill though. never thought i'd see a reasonably quick saturn, and now i can die knowing i was always wrong.

yea: try going 120 when your tires arent balanced :P....

I did 120 today... on the bike... that's only 3rd gear.

I lost to an Eclipse over the weekend. This boost leak is killing me. Or maybe it was his big ass turbo.

yeah, you have to watch those eclipses and their damn turbos.

Yeah most peoeple underestimate the redline, if they know what it even is lol. It is pretty quick, and it has a good top end...even though ive only gone 125 (I need new rear tires badly!) It should go anywhere from 145-150mph, but after 120 i have to shift to 5th, which makes the climb a little slower. I dont know if i will ever take it up too high, but its nice to know that it is there if you need it.

I was surprised that i walked the eclipse so hard, my friend quit taping him at about 110 then just looked at the speedo and i was watching the road so i dont know how much farther back he dropped.

I have a few more vids on my youtube account if anyone wants to watch a 3000GT base against that same eclipse or the 3k against the honda accord i raced back in the stealth.

Ha i know i have had my sights set a little low, but later tonight or tomorrow or sometime i will post my races from last weekend against a 300whp turbo'd b16 civic hatch, 99 Z28 camaro and LS1 GTO (3 way), and 245whp cobalt ss.

The redline doesnt really have anything done to it yet. I thought it had intake but apparently i was told that it looked like the previous owner just removed the airbox, i just assumed they came with paper filters stock as opposed to the cone that is on it. Im planning on doing stage 2 and ingalls torque damper this summer, then a 2.9 inch pulley when my warranty is up. And i have a friend who will sell me a cobra heat exchanger if i want to go that route:naughty:
