I had gone through several coilpacks, and even replaced the housing. It would idle and crank okay, but would stall when accelerated. I was on the interstate and went to pass a car and it just died. It would turn over (sounded weak when doing it) but wouldnt ever fire. It has been in several shops. Guys have replaced the crankshaft sensor, and some other tweaks, but havent gotten any results. They told me that there is a sensor at the end of the crank that regulates fire from the crank to the coil or something like that. They have pretty much told me to scrap the car. Oh and one other thing. Another guy told me that it could be electrical because I did have an aftermarket stereo in at one point. My question is: WHAT DO I DO NOW???!!!:banghead:

What engine? Have you checked the TPS and MAF sensors? Have you checked fuel pressure/volume?
