I am curious about a few things before i start to buy for my summer projects..
1. What size rims do i need to buy to get that wider look for my tires. I just bought new tires for 16 inch rims, so any suggesttions
2. Opinions on wheel spacers
3. Does anyone have a used lift for 2000 silverado 4x4, or know where i wont break my pocketbook on a good lift (preferably 6'').
4.Cold Air intake.... i really want k&n but if you have any other suggestions?

I can help with 3 and 4. I had a Superlift standard 6" lift installed on my 2000 in April of last year and I'm happy with it. I did a lot of research and they have the most economical kit I could find. The only drawback with this kit is you have to upgrade the wheels because stock wheels don't have the proper backspacing. You didn't mention if your tires are stock sizing or not. With a 6" lift you can easily fit a 35" tire.
I have an AEM Brute Force cold air intake, I think they're a little more money than the K&N but they (AEM) use a dry filter that does not need to be oiled like the K&N
Hope this helps

2. Opinions on wheel spacers
1) Do you mean actually wider, or just look wider? I wouldn't increase the wheel width to make the tire look wider. It's much easier to pop the tire off the bead with a wheel that's too wide. Generally you want a rim that's 2" narrower than the tire.
2) Get a wheel with the proper backspacing.
