I hope someone can guide me in the right direction.
I have a 2007 Maxima with 23K miles on it. After about 10K miles, I was hearing a oud squeaking, rubbing noise on turns of 20 mph or under. The dealership has replaced the struts a few times, but this has not helped the problem. I can still hear it on right turns of 20 mph or less.
I have seen the service bulletins by Nissan and I had a private mechanic perform one in hopes of eliminating the noise. I do not hear it as frequently, but it is stll there.
The other issue is that after 23K miles I have zero tread on my front tires. The tires are 17" V rated Continentals.
Can anyone help me with this problem? :banghead:

...help me with this problem? :banghead:
The emphasis is on the word: THIS ... You have several problems starting from stealership... start calling Nissan hq.
Possible Noise sources
- Rubber rubbing against smtg causes rubbing noise... =wheel touching the chassis.
- The wheel bearing - supporting all this rotation.
- Pwr steering belt is loose
To get more thread u must go to a tire shop - to keep it, insert 2"x4" under gas pedal...

Most tires after an h rating dont have a milage rating. You can expect a V rated tire to only last around 20-30k anyways. Most likely your driving habbits are the cause. Eather get a harder tread or like Nahkapohjola said, put a 2x4 under the gas.
