2000 Astro keyless entery

I have a 2000 chevy Astro that when I bought the van I didn't get the keyless entery remotes. I found some keyless entery remotes from a 02 gmc safari at a junk yard and I was wondering if they would work? The code on the back of the remote is 15043458.

That keyless will work on 2001-2002 only-- you need one with part#15732805 which is for yrs 2000-2001 - go to link below to see results
