Remove the fuel pressure test port cap for extra clearance, they usually hit on that. It's a very close fit, you just have to wiggle it out.

Those engineers change stuff up so much there's no point in remembering anything, just take stuff off until you get to the part that you're after, and then once you pry on it for a few minutes check with a mirror to make sure you didn't miss a bolt :icon16:
It's been a long week. :D
I hear that!

Ya there was a third bolt, It was a paint on the 96 3.1 grand am the motor mount is on top, You have to lift the motor up a foot to get to the nut and then after you get it off you gotta lift it up another 5 inches on top of that to get the mounting bracket off to get to the last head bolt What a paint and it wasnt the head only intake gasket;( I ended up pulling the whole engine out because it was such a mess. The whole engine was full about 10 quarts with antifreeze mixed, pulled it out and ran some diesel fuel through it, Clean as a whistle. However I broke off a very important part trying to removing the throttle cable on the tranny that saftey switch that engages the gears, Ya this is not gonna be good;( Anyone know where I can get one of these? Thanks so much for all your time I really appreciate the help;)
