gas mileage of 1995 3000gt

hi i got a 1995 3000gt automatic transmission and i was just wondering how many miles do you guys get from a full tank of gas i get nearly 300 miles i mostly do city driving is this quite right or do i have to do a tune up? and what is the best way save gas.... i just spent $60 on gas and i only use premium..... if i drive on the city streets do i leave my overdrive on or off thanks

Hey congrats on the car! Make sure to post pics in the "pictures of your ride" thread. I had/have a 91 auto and I usually got 20+ mpg with it. I got less in the winter...17-18 mpg but I always let it warm up to at least the bottom line on the gauge. I also got 24 mpg with city and highway driving a few times...but I would say 20-22 mpg could be expected. I hope that helps...oh and I usually drove with the overdrive off unless I was going to go over 40 for a couple miles.
