MarkVII vs Mach1

My girlfriend was hanging out with one of out mutual friends who drives an Azure Blue Mach 1, bone stock. When I got off work I met them at the BP (local hang out spot) and chilled there with a few of our friends. I told him I wanted to run him, just to see where I stand against faster cars. He agreed to run me for some fun, and we headed out onto I360 and we would race on Broadus' Flats. Basically a 2 lane, each way, strip of road thats completely flat and straight for about 5 miles.

I told him I wanted to run from a 30 roll, because in 1st gear, I'm sittin right around 3500-4000RPMs. The first run suprised both of us. From about 30 to 50 I had pulled a fender on him, and kept it. from 50 to 70 we were dead even. After 80 he started to walk away, and by the time I shut it down at about 110-115 he had about a buslength. I caught back up to him, and clicked it back into 1st. I was pacing him at about 40, when I heard him downshift, I nailed it, and the same results happened again. Pulled a fender, then dead even, then he will start to walk away.

The last race we did was from a 40 roll again. I told him to honk 3 times, and then go. He got the jump on me this time and instantly started pulling away. By about 110 he had 1.5 buslengths on me.

I think its safe to say my MarkVII should be in the 14.9 area... which is decently quick considering the size of the car, and they supposedly run in the 15.8 area stock.
