try rubbing out the drop of paint on the window with some tamiya compound, should be able to work. Good luck.

get one of those triple grit sanding files and go to town and then polish it out.. that works everytime.. try just the polish first.. good luck.. later Rick S

What?! Paint Thinner?! Paint thinner is what RUINS plastic windows... it'll make it foggy and fugg it up...

try really light sanding, or try taking a pic and see if you could pic the spot of paint out followed by rubbing compound

all you have to do is sand the area down with the highest grit you can get your hands on and then polish out the scratches with tamiya compound. be gentle since you dont want to crack it in half. ive used this technique to get rid of paint on the windshield as well as scratches that occur in the packaging. i know it sounds scary but it really does work. you then use a good wax on the window after you have painted it correctly. should be almost as good as new if you take your time and do it right. good luck

Well, I see you have 10 responses saying basically the same thing so I'll offer a way to prevent this from happening again...
BMF makes "black-foil" as well as the "chrome-foil". It's designed for black trim but works just as well for window edging.

CASTRO SUPER CLEAN!

I onced messed up outlining the window for my Skyline (leaked under the masking tape)

So I dip the whole window into a cup of Castro Super Clean, let it sit for like... 2 minutes or so and rub the paint off with a Q-Tip.

I had NO problem with it. I was happy =)

Ditto...Can't go wrong w/a little CSC. Yet when using this, be reminded that it is a very strong chemical and you should wear gloves when using it.

Use this stuff, works great and dosen't eat plastic or cloud it up either.

Denatured Alcohol
The safest, purest grade of denatured ethyl alcohol.
Thinning: Alcohol is used to thin shellac based products only. Use with clear or orange shellac or pigmented shellac primers. Do not use with other finishes.
Cleaning: A specialty cleaner. Use to clean painting tools after using shellac. Will soften dry or hard shellac. Can dissolve most inks, lipsticks, crayons and many other stains. General: This is the best grade of fuel for alcohol chafing dishes and stoves. Complete combustion produces no harmful gases or vapor. Alcohol is soluble in water and can be used as an anti-freeze agent. However, it evaporates rapidly and is flammable. Read cautions on the container before using.

I have 2 ways
1st castrol super clean or some brake fluid and strip the shit off
2nd sand it with 800-1200-2000 and clearcoat it, atleast that worked on small cockpit windows on jets, people say that large area clearcoated will fugg it up. I donīt know if its true or not
