CD Deck sticks out.......

Hey guys, just installed a Pioneer deck in my Shitfire, took out that crappy ass tape deck, works fine and dandy but the dask kit bolts in fine but the deck hits the back wall or something and is pushed out a little bit from the bracket because the lack of room, on my Cavalier I had to have it hacked away at the back, but its also in the lower spot, sunfires the AC knobs are on the bottom and deck is above, what do I do its annoying the deck sticking out.

Nothing will fit as perfect as the stock deck, It's going to stick out.

ya its going to stick out a bit the best kit to get is the one from canadian tire thats what i got and it dosen't stick out anyfarther than half inch and the same with my brother who has a sunfire

Take a dremel and cut the back of the deck housing to make it fit. I had to do this, its no big deal.

its different on the sunfire though since its in the upper slot rather then at the bottom like 95-99 cavaliers. its metal and not plastic that its hitting at the back
