to take the arm off the shaft of the rear shock, can I just use a puller or is there a secret to remove them. Also, there is a small spring in the valve mechanism. Is that something that can be adjusted. Thanks again.

I have tried to remove the shock arm before and found that they were too tight for a standard puller. I suspect that there is a special set up for rebuilding them. I had to give up and purchase rebuilt units. If you can remove the arm, I'm sure that you could rebuild them yourself. Good Luck.
