Hi,
I'm new here, well kind of...been lurking for quite some time now admiring everyone elses fine work on here. Thought it was about time I posted something myself! Here is my latest build for Tamiya Model Magazine International. It will be in issue 150, on store shelves soon.

Wow,
Awesome livery. Is that decal?? If it's painted I would go crazy for sure. Do you have any engine pics?

All the livery is decal, there is no engine detail I'm afraid, as with many multimedia F1 kits.

Jon

You really did a gorgeous job. Perfect. I'm not a fan of the livery (I'll take Lucky Strike any day), but this kit looks excellent.

Many thanks for the kind comments everyone! Much appreciated.
Other than a 1:43 kit I built for the mag too it is the first multimedia kit I have built so I am pleased that you approve of the results!
Will get hold of some images of other stuff I have built for TMMI and stick them up here at some point for your perusal!!!
Cheers again,
Jon

Hi Jon
The Honda looks great.
I too can't wait for the article in TMMI and some more pics of other builds from you.
Superb build of a great looking car. Too bad they don't get points for the livery...

Very cool.
What kind of CF decal did you use on the rear wing?
And are they the stock wheelnuts, or aftermarket items?

I may be wrong, but I think it's S27 CF decals on the rear wing.
Anyway, it really looks awesome. Great job on the decals. :)
Too bad the car was such a piece of trash on the track. It was one of my favorite cars (looks wise) of 07. The new 08 white livery looks even better.

Thanks all again for your kind comments!
CaptainMark: It is indeed Studio27's own carbon decal. I used the medium pattern on the wings and undertray with the small on the suspension and other aero bits. Its very nice decal to work with.
The wheel nuts are as per kit. The use a white metal cast main part with a PE part over the top. The only part I changed from kit was the little pin that exits the centre, I made this from wire as it was easier than cleaning up the kit cast part.
Cheers,
Jon
