Where is the PCV on the '99 Contour?

My brother and I have been looking all over the front of his I4 and it just isn't being found! Can anyone give a better explanation than Haynes of where it is? Thank you

Look for a 1/2 hose going into the intake plenum. Back track the hose to the PCV valve which should be in the other end of the hose.
