putting a new clutch kit in my jetta and replacing all trans seals only problem is the brass pushrod bushing doesnt want to come out thinking I may have to drill it out but not sure if thats a wise decision. also hoping I dont have to drop the oil pan to replace the rear engine seal bucause i only got the seal and the plastic guide cap no plate gasket. I havent taken the pressure plate off the crank yet waiting on the clutch kit to get here.

the brass bushing behind the transmission pushrod seal in the front shaft of the transmission i got it out with a lag bolt it crumbled i had it pointing down at the time so no shavings got in the gear oil. the other problem I had (the transmission is back in but the front lock carrier and headlight assembly need to be installed before i start it up. the problem is i got a clutch kit with a new pressure plate and clutch disk the pressure plate is not the same it only had 1 locating pin notch and little tab like areas on the out side of the pressure plate so the flywheel wouldnt fit over it (so I removed 1 pin from the fly wheel and ground just a little bit off all 3 tabs so the pressure plate had about the same amount of play inside the flywheel as the old pressure plate the only thing I'm worried about is vibration not sure if its going to be a problem or not?? I also know the timing mark maybe off so I will have to put one on the flywheel with some white paint other than that i think im in good shape
