2000 Dodge Durango, 5.9 L, 2- Wheel Drive. Runs Great When Cold.
When It Starts To Get Warm The Idle Drops To 600 Rpm And Get Real Rough. It Will Die If Sitting For Long Periods Of Time But Does Start Right Back Up Again. If I Floor It, It Will Bog Down Like It Is Going To Die. But If Ease Into It, It Runs Fine. If You Put It In Drive And Floor It, It Shakes And Chokes Real Bad But If You Let Off Of It And Get Back Into It It Runs Fine Until You Get Up Into 4th Gear With It Floored, Then The Check Engine Light Flickers And The Engine Starts To Cut Out. I Am Trying To Describe Itas Best As I Can. I Just Replaced The Cat. Gas Milage Is An Average Of 12.8 City. The Check Engine Light Is Now Staying On Since I Replaced The Cat.

Possibly restricted fuel line. Also possible ignition issues.
I would start with the easy stuff. If you haven't done a tuneup lately, replace the spark plugs and wires. Also replace the fuel filter and air filter.
