I just noticed that Revell-Monogram has an Enzo kit on the way... so if you don't want to pay $$$ for the Tamiya kit, you can wait. I'll probably get the R-M kit. I'm not a huge fan of the Enzo...

I just got two revell kits. I know i said i hate them, but noone else made the kits and they were $10 a piece so thats even cheaper than 1 tamiya kit. But anyways, neither of those two kits come with side windows.... Do most of their new kits come this way ?

I mean, i live in chicago and we can't always have our windows rolled down ;)

Ya, that's a quite common feature for Revell kits. Allows you to see more clearly into the car. Unfortunately, it also lets the dust in.

It was off the topic, so I split it from PMan's Enzo thread.

I assume the revell one will have WAY less parts , fixed doors ,and less detail. Either way, I'm not gonna build an Enzo:D

Tamiya Enzo > Revell Enzo (the best would be the combination of the two - you can get openning everything in that case).

I know I am buying the Revell-Monogram Enzo kit when it comes out... The Tamiya was too expensive for a newbie modeler like me, and I wouldn't want to mess up a kit like that. I guess I will continue to buy cheaper, simpler kits untill I feel my skill is good enough.

As far as detail is, the newer Revell kits have suprized me in the amount of detail. The '02 camaro SS has more detail to it than 2 tamiya kits.

Ya, you have to do a lot of snipping and shaving to get the peices right but i was in awe about how much plastic $10 can get you. The detailed engine has little windshield fluid bottle and all sorts of other things that make it look realistic. The body itself is good too.

Yea its a 1/25 and not 1/24 but the differences are almost unnoticable. The camarro is still bigger than my M5.

The only thing i didn't like was the side windows as i said before
