cyclone intake manifold????

k so when i got my dsm it had a JDM motor in it, i noticed that it has a Cyclone intake manifold on it lol. so my question is is this intake more or less restrictive than the american dsm manifold?
if this manifold happens to be more restrictive i have had my eye on a nice one on ebay take a look:naughty:

get that one, then sell me your cyclone for $50... its a POS! (kiddin, the cyclone is an awesome manifold...) but not as good as that one on ebay... that thing will flow like no tomorrow!!! for real! i'll give you $50 for it ;)

The cyclone mani should be fine, theres no reason for you to get a SMIM until you're running a big damn turbo and/or a lot of boost. Theres things like oh I dont know, a bigger turbo, exhuast, FMIC, and engine management. While we're on that topic, you do have engine management to compensate for those bigger injectors dont you??

Is there another upgrade path besides the one on tuners? One that starts with upgrading to the hks ssqv bov and then smim and engine hose dress up kit as the main parts of stage 1 and up to 300 hp?

$129 for shipping!! Get DSMLink if you are going to drop that much money. Since you have a '90 you probably already have an EPROM.

I wouldn't be surprised if you saw a loss in power with that SMIM with the mods you have. I mean, you don't even have cams or a larger than stock turbo. Save your money and don't spend it on the bling factor or you will go broke very quickly.
