All wheel drive civic!

Has anyone heard of a mod with the use of a CRV drivetran or maybe an old wagon tranny?

EXPENSIVE SWAP....BUT I'VE HEARD THAT IF YOU DO THE SWAP THE REAR CAN ONLY HANDLE ABOUT 120HP WITH NO MODS

NEVER HEARD OF IT WITH THE CRV

120hp with the axles breaking? or the gearbox?

NOT SURE...BUT I'M THINKING MOST LIKELY THE GEAR BOX....BUT NOT SURE

Yeah I think the gearbox would be the hard part even if you had the$. The driveshaft and the axles could be made relitivly easy or cheaply.
But i think the problems would be 1: the mating of the tranny to a good motor and 2.rear suspension rebuild.

Damn, just posted this on the RWD crx thread, do a search, i know there was a thread about this about a month ago, and yes it can be done with the CRV, but I heard that the rear diff will give out really quick.

..I think the crv drivetrain is gonna hold a hell of alot more power than the old realtime wagon drivetrain..

they are all just pics, so i was right, it was a crv drivetrain, i remembered everyone sayin that it wouldn't last long though.
