turn signal clicking when not being used

Turn signal sound coming from under the dash even though the signal is not engaged?? Just going down the road the clicking is random no change turning the steering wheel maybe a click every 5-10 seconds then nothing for a couple minutes. 1999 Tahoe 4x4

Is it clicking without you engaging physically the switch?

I think it might be the switch is stuck or the connections are misplaced. Has this been happening since you've had this vehicle?

It may not be the turn signal. I had a similar problem and thought it was the turn signal or a fuse breaker resetting. Turned out to be the trip mileage indicator was not seated properly. Try pushing the reset button in and see if that takes care of it.
