low oil light on 02 g.a

hey all i have an 02 g.a and the low oil light comes on sometimes.i dont have low oil i check it all the time so i there anything else that can be triggering this light to come on the car runs good and make no noises and i would hate to bring it in and have them find nothing so any help would be appriciated

somethings that case a low oil light, can be a bad sensor, and sometimes low oil pressure. That would be somethings that i would look into.

There are two oil lights, a pressure and a level. If it is the level light, when does it come on? If I start my car when it's on a steep enough hill, the level light comes on and stays on until I shut the car off and restart on level ground.

its the level light. i am not parked on a hill i just start it and there is no rhyme or reason if its cold sometimes it comes on sometime it dont if it comes on and i shut it off and re start it it does not come on im just wondering if it has anything to do with anything besides the engine oil ie trans fluid,steering fluid etc.i would take it to checker and test it but it wouldnt come on sometimes it wont come on for a week than it will come on.i was thinking bad sensor but also dont want to wreck my car so with plenty of oil in there it should be good right?

The sensor is in the bottom of the oil pan, pass side.
I'd also check the wiring, sometimes it gets cracked/damaged and intermitantly makes contact causing the light to come on.
