electrical problems 97 grand merquis

Need help having electrical problems with my 97 grand merquis im assuming severe electrical problems i have a car system in my trunk has caused issues i beleive because my fuel pump cut off completly but i have been having other problems the door mechanism that makes the trunk pop doesn t open anymore makes a clicking sound and and the light as well in the trunk doesn t come on anymore tried replacing the light and that didn t resolve the issue would anyone know where the switch is in the trunk? That makes the light come on and off is located this would be helpful. I have also checked fuses they all seem to be good if anyone can help with these issues thankyou very much sry for such a long post. Rambler.

Start by looking your wiring harness look for worn spots. Check along the front bumper. Check the connections for corrosion.
