We have just had same probs and thermostat been changed. Took radiator in shop to be checked and there was a small hairline size crack in top tank of radiator. All fixed now just have to put back in and re test but should be ok. But sound like u had same probs with hot and cold hoses.

not too sure we have been told may have blown head gasket at the worst but when we put radiator back in will let ya know how it goes if not radiator then maybe changing waterpump as sometimes the fins in them can wear out. But if not that then maybe blown head gasket. But will try our radiator 1st as it was split so may be all it is. thanks

She seems to be working fine now. It was overheating and top hose was always hot and bottom one stone cold so water wasnt circulating and was filling up reservoir bottle everytime but all good now hope this may help someone
