Oil Pump Questions...

Hello,


my 94 v6 laramie truck has been acting strange. The oil pressure light would come on at idle occasionally, but gauge was fine... Now the problem is getting worse, even with higher revvs the oil pressure light stays on, and sometimes the pressure gauge will drop to 0...

note, that it isnt as bad when truck is intially started.



the engine doesnt act any different at all...

sending unit?
clogged screen?
bad oil?
oil pump?



Also, the temperature gauge will not rise and the engine doenst seem to get warm at all... could this be that the thermostat is stuck open?
