Hi

The other gages & tach work find. Anybody out there run across this ? :uhoh: If so what is the fix I have moved harnesses around did not change problem

Wow. This is an odd one. I've never worked on a gen 1 Caravan so I can only talk in general terms. Can't see a single sensor causing both. I'd guess it's either wiring in a common bundle or the instrument cluster circuit board. If you haven't yet you might try following the oil pressure sender wiring through it's bundle to the firewall connection. Maybe it and the output speed sensor wiring have chaffed at the same point. Could be a bad connection at the instrument cluster or solder joints on the cluster circuit board if equipped. Beyond that, not a clue. Hope someone has seen this problem and chimes in with a fix for you.

many caravans have this problem and if you let it go your guages and spedo etc wont work. take out the 4 screws that hold on the a/c stuff and unplug it and inspect for a burnt terminal I JUST did one 5 min ago. Clean it up and plug back in or get one from the junkyard
