2001 LS removing dash panels

:) I need to remove the panel(s) surronding the radio/cd player and push button info panel to remove a stuck CD and repair the info panel that has fallen into the cavity of the dash. Before I tear into it I was wondering if anyone had any tips for removing the panels so I don' t break them.

My recall is that to get to the radio deck, you remove the ashtray, maybe a couple of screws behind the removed ashtray, then pull off the trim panel. Most of the trim pieces are just snapped in place.

the top panel with the vent in it - pulls straight forward - and then you can reach behind it and disconnect the wiring.

there are two more screws (bolts) behind the top panel that hold the radio bezel in (along with the two lower ones Rod mentioned).
