Ok I don't know where everybody went but damn it has been slow in here lately. So seeing as i'm buried under some snow and have been dying to ride lately I've been thinking of thread ideas. I realized I never posted any pics of my bike. So here goes, I fully expect you guys to follow suit and post up your rides.:iceslolan

Only thing different now is that I got rid of those little front turn signals and installed some flushmount ones with a smoked lense.
OK lets see the rest of them guys and gals.

Nice I love that color with the black, its very clean looking no emblems or decals. I like it alot. In fact I have always liked your bike. I remember way back when we had that art thread or something going on in off-topic and you asked for it to be sketched or something it looked sweet. Actually I think I still have the computer sketch in my AF gallery haha.

Blayne, I don't think it's the red reflective rim tape, but if you have a personal fanny pack that matches the one on your bike........:eek7:
Plus, anyone that uses the number 13 at the track has my respect.
Nice tat too, any story behind the red dragon?

I need to get new pics of my bike. The small one in my signature was taken just after I got it. I have new pipes, bags, seat, windshield and a bit of skull themed chrome to personalize it. Since it's in the garage covered during this cold ass mucho snow winter, it might take a while to get it cleaned up and photo worthy.
Knorwj, bad ass, muscle standards are cool!!!
BP2K2Max, I've told you before I like that Champagne color of yours, it's different and sharp!
Steel, your's is sweet also! That Blue is gorgeous and the exposed engine is the cat's ass.
Aussie, not too bad for half-assed pics!

In Australia, fanny=vagina. so your calling me a girl? ok, so red rim tape makes me a girl. i can't deny that. i do make a pretty chick, although kinda hairy and chubby.
as for the number 13, my lucky number's are 11 and 13. 11 is always taken so i'll have 13.
and finally my tatt. When i was on my honeymoon, my wife and i got tatt's. I got a red celtic symbol on my neck (i have Celtic roots). Then the movie XXX (with Vin Diesel, not porn!) came out and everyone thought i was trying to be like him. Then when my Sister-in-law wanted a tatt, i took her down and got the Phoenix done at the same time. Dragon/Phoenix same shit different color

Fanny in the states means your ass, so I guess I was unknowingly calling you an ass!! :cwm27: No, a fanny pack is like a little pouch (I call them a man purse) with a belt-like strap that you fasten around your waist. Tourists use them to carry their cameras and such because we'd beat the men up if they carried a real purse, rightfully so I might add.

Steel nice ride, I like the color, and the belly pan is nice. I've wanted one for mine since I bought it but by the time I buy the pan and have it painted it would probly be over 400 bucks sooo I go panless haha. That bike would be badass fully naked...
Aussie love the bike, but I'm partial to the family haha. Is it orange and black or red and black? Have you checked out the new '08s yet? I love them soooo much I almost decided to get rid of the 919 for one.

Dirty pics are better than no pics!
The one I posted were taken last summer while on vacation. I had just gotten to Lake george village in Lake george New York after driving from Virginia up to portland Maine and then over to new york for a week. The bike is fairly clean for being strapped to the back of my blazer for all those miles. I unloaded it and never even started my blazer all week. It wound up serving as canoe storage all week haha you can barely see it in the first two pics up behind the bike.

when i need to carry something and i'm alone, its in that red bag on the bike but people look at a bloke in leather before they see the "fanny pack". :naughty:
other than that, my wife is my "handbag" she knows i'll loose stuff unless she carries it.
My bike is red but photos tend to show orange for some reason.

yep. funny stuff.
Two teenagers (i think 16yrs old) tried to rob a sports club with a samurai sword and a machete. the only problem was there was a club meeting for the Southern Cross Cruisers and their families. one kid jumped through a glass window and then off a balcony 20 foot high to escape and the other got stuck in the back of house corridors before the bikers kindly held them till the cops arrived.
How the hell the dickheads didn't see 50 harleys in the carpark?

Thanks Steel, I'm pretty proud of it. I ran into a guy at a gas station that had a bike just like yours, and at first he was defensive (probably thought I was a typical asshole on a Harley that was gonna diss his Suzuki) but he got over it and we had a nice talk. He had a pipe on it (don't remember what brand) and it sounded SWEET!! (he complimented my Fatboy's Rineharts too, rumbley but not obnoxiously loud). Pictures don't do that blue justice, it's a beautiful color in person. I would seriously consider buying one if I could convince the Mrs. to let me have two bikes.

Yeah... I LOVE this bike... it's def. quick when it needs to be but confortable as well for those longer trips...
I don't really find it cramped but I am only 5'8"... Probably taller guys/gals will find it a bit cramped just the same as the CBR600RR... They are the two 'shortest' bikes on the market...
My plans are to 'slowly' make it a street/track bike... piece by piece though...

Its a 600 right?
the 750 and the 600 look so much alike now, apart from the color scheme.
you've gotta go a Yoshi, 1 down on the front sprocket and up two on the rear. that'll make it "responsive".

Yep Yep... it's a 600cc...
I was going to do the full Yoshi R55... w/a PCIII tuned on the dyno...
Won't eh -1f/2+r hinder my top end MPH... I def. know the lowend will ROCK... but I didn't want to kill too too much of my top end speed...
the 750 and the 600 look so much alike now, apart from the color scheme.
you've gotta go a Yoshi, 1 down on the front sprocket and up two on the rear. that'll make it "responsive".

It will drop your "top speed" by about 11%.
BUT when will you ever get there?
chances are you can get to redline in 5th, change to 6th but the gearing will not allow you to get to redline in 6th given the amount of resistance versus torque.
eg.
with my 954 in standard gearing, i would be doing 235-240KPH down the straight of Eastern Creek raceway in 5th, and change to 6th only to accelerate slightly before the end of the straight. with 1 down and 2 up, i get 265+ (depending on wind and with or without camera) in 6th almost redline. the punch outta corners is so much better and still accelerating past stock 1000's on the straight. sure i need to work the gears more and risk more highsides and wheelies when close to the limit, but i'll never hit the full top speed with standard ratio's.
I'm not sure with the new suzuki ECU's (they are much higher MB processors now) but with most FI bikes, you'll need a PCIII if you plan on an exhaust and air filter. just the exhaust does little in the HP stakes but change the exhaust note. Air filter's do nothing in HP (maybe 1-2hp max) but together with an exhaust, it can run the motor on the wrong mixtures. Whack in a PCIII and up goes the HP and all the mixtures are ok too.
I'd do the exhaust first, then gears and then see about the rest.
if you change the gears, you'll need a speedohealer too.

ahh the good ole katana. good too see you have all your gear on.:) i love the ninjas too. if i were to ever trade in the sv it would be for a zx10r or a r-1. more partial to the zx due to the fact no one has one around here

^ that was kinda my motivation for getting it, i see more Gsxr's around here than you could imagine and yamaha's are a close second. don't really see many kwaks around. the extra displacement, slipper clutch, and wave brake rotors also swayed me towards the kawi. this season she's getting new front sprocket(-1) and a rear too(+2), and hopefully a jardine slip on if the funds are right, should be fun. anyway thanks for the compliments
