Can someone help me w/squealing noise

Today, I started hearing this really loud squeal noise that I think is coming from the left front wheel (tire) area. It stops when I apply the breaks. Would anyone know what this is?

those are called the "squealer" tabs, ironically. Its letting you know your brakes are about to go to metal to metal and you should do something about it soon
