05 Dodge Durango OEM Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Programming Procedures

I have a 05 dodge durango that has the key with the Unlock\Lock\Panic remote on the key (RKE), and it needs to be replaced because it slowly stopped Unlocking\locking the doors. I put a new battery and attempted to program the key with the key from some online instructions i found for a 03 model but its still having trouble. I attemted to reprogram the same key with the online instructions i found but i think since the remote is going out it wont take the programming. My guess is the remote is gone out. Does anyone have the instructions for the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Programming Procedures for an 05 Durango? I want to buy an after market key but I dont want to have to go to the dealer for them charge me $40 for a 3 min procedure.
