I have a 2000 eclipse GT and I just relpaced my freeze plug and started bleeding the cooling system and everything goes fine but the only problem I am having now is that my heat comes out cold . Ive checked the heater hoses and ones hot and the other is a little hotter but still the heat somes out cold. Iam getting a very slight drip of coolant from the heater core but nothing that would cause the heat to come out cold. Right now myself and three other techs are about to pull our hair out, everything is opertaing find just cant figure out what is going on with the heat . All cables are connected . PLEASE HELP :banghead:

Yah I know its a dumb question.
Are you letting the cars engine warm up 1st?
If thats not the problem try checking under the steering wheel to see if someone unhooked or broke the lever that switches from hot to cold air.

lol yea all the heating cables and everything like that is hooked up the car gets to operating temps . the only thing iam think now is that it might be the thermostate but i also forgot to say that we put a stop leak in the system to temp stop the heater core from leaking not really what i wanted to do but my buddy thought it would help so now im thinking that might b the problem also . I also just found out that i have a exhaust leak at the front down pipe so now that i got my income tax money imma get a exhaust but i need to figure out wut is goin on with the cooling system first
