Disconnect the black ground wire going to the RAP (Remote Anti-theft personality Module). In an Escort it is in the right rear quarter panel in the trunk. Don't know where it is on a Focus. If the alarm is an aftermarket pull the wire to the siren or horn. If it is a factory alarm I would pull the fuse to the horn. I know you need it for inspection, but you can always put the fuse back in. Beats having the thing go off while you are driving. I always get flipped off when I use my horn. Can you pull the fuse for the alarm without disconnecting a whole bunch of other things?
