Boy, the car run so much better. It's got its old performance zip back. I wish I had changed them at 80k miles because that is when the gas mileage started to go down..

How many years did you run yours? I've got a low mileage Intrigue, but at 7 years old you wonder what can you can do to help out.

My Intrigue was manufactured in March 1999 and the plugs I replaced were the original.

The plugs you pulled out were probably platinums and are usually good for 100k.
7 yrs on the same plugs and albeit wires. Change em go with either OEMS or NGK. Stay away from Bosch plats.:nono:

Just wondering, but in vehicles where plugs are usually changed at 30k miles, how long do the platinums plugs usually last?

The OEM plat plugs that came with my Pontiac were good for 100k miles.
