hi there,i got a 1991 nissan 240sx,aws,5spd,it got the twin cam in it.
the deal is that the car it wont start,i change the fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, distributor, ignition coil, spark plug wires,i check the injectors, the are spraying fine,it looks like it wants to start,i crack it,and it just make the noise,i check the compresion in all the cilinders they all got 120 compression,it didnt overheat,i just park it in my garage and the next day didnt start no more.:banghead: ,there is spark, and there is fuel.:uhoh: i dont know were to look anymore, help please!!:crying: somebody told me that might b the timing chain!!does anyone know how how to check if the timing belt is not working?

oooohhhh 120 compression is way too low. you should be up around 160-180 at the very least. piston rings? head gasket? valves? do some more work.

squirt some oil in the cylinders, see if compression gets better. If it does, your rings are worn. It might still run on 120psi though, its just really hard to start, try starting fluid in the throttle body.

ummm, but this is my 3rd 240 that i got,and the one before this one it use to have 129 pressure and it was running just fine, thats why it my concern on the pressure thing,u thing that it might b the wiring,or the ecu?

huh? both 240s i had were up around 160-180. and im pretty sure thats what the FSM says it should be...ill double check and let you know. but try the oil thing, just as perrenial said.

From what you have said I would check engine timing, right down to the timing chain. This appears to be your problem because low compression can be a symptom of this problem as well.
