I know this has got to have been discussed before but couldn't find it. How good is it for a daily driver? what other mods do I need with it? Can I get it installed at a non-authorized installer and still get good install?

I wanna know stuff on it!!!!! :D

i dont know much about the jrsc, but i do know that i have 3 friends with jrsc's on there car, and all of there jrsc's have broke. but i gotta note that these guys are hardcore racers, so the jrsc was abused pretty hard

The JRSC was designed to keep everything stock, except for the timing which is set to 10 degrees. I have been running mine for a little over 2 years now, never had a problem with it. But then again, I am not trying to run into the ground either... hehehe

A "good" mech. should not have any probs installing it at all...

As far as a daily driver goes you can't beat it. The low end torque is killer when comes to to changing lanes ect...

The few peeps that have rode in mine, that were thinking of going turbo, switched to thinking about a sc instead. Like mentioned above the low end torque is what sold them...

The biggest prob with a "roots" type blower is the intake temps. Due to the compression of the air, which can be delt with.

hondata has a new intake manifold gasket thats thicker than stock and made of a plastic blend to keep heat from transfering from the head to the manifold, it'd help quite a bit.

Either with Water Injection (after the sc) or around 20+ shot of Nitrous...

Either one will help pull the intake temps down, after going through the sc. Thats where you will gain more hp, rather then trying to brute force it with more N2O...

I will be running both on mine, as soon as spring gets here, and I can finish getting everything hooked-up... :) hehehehe

However, I won't be running them both at the same time tho... Other peeps found out they get in the way of each other, from what their dyno results told them. Sooo, I will just have to get some dyno runs using them independatly. Then download whichever MAP into the SECU...

Also plan to add a Y8 crank pully, that will almost double the boost from 6 to 11-12 psi... In the process of building another engine in order to that tho... hehehehe

cool, will have to read up on the water injection. Nitrous sounds like trouble for some reason, and expensive. The gasket though looks really good and cheap so will def. get that. thanks y'all anymore comments?

Since I am only going to be going anywhere from a 20 to 30 shot. Should not be that much trouble, however anything much higher then that, and you are right tho. Anyway, it could get rather costly "QUICK" just using the N2O....

Chances are I will probably just end up using one MAP for both, and just suffer the cost of any hp loss. hehehe
