It breaks my heart. Like other people my Toopers engine failed because of high oil use and I didnt recognize it. Engine running, but knocks. It is such a great car and served me well. I hate not being able to drive it and being in this position. Autoshop says get a new engine. At this time I cant afford it.
Can anybody give me advice - What is the car worth at this point, where can I go to get something for it.
Should I break it down for parts? How do you price this
What should a replacement with a remanufactured engine cost - any suggestions where to go?

Where are you located? The engine replacement (from what the dealer service manager friend tells me) is the only real fix. It's cheaper than a rebuild.
