I can't restrict myself to foods from one particular country. I like aspects of foods from almost every country on the globe. Preferencs would lean towards asian foods though. I like any Japanese foods (yes, even the ones that make you go :bloated: ).

If i had to pick it would have to be japaneese foods, almost every kind of japaneese food i've had tasted very yummy! :smoker:

the food i had when in Japan was simply awesome. even the Sushi, which i was skeptical about, was good. i also enjoy REAL Chinese food (not the quickly made generic fast food type stuff that's more well known), and some, read SOME, Indian food. some is just too spicy for me. and of course, who could forget Mexican? Tacos, Fajitas, Burritos, Enchiladas, Gorditas, Quesadillas, i love them ALL! except for Taco Bell, that stuff is just gross.

Can I ask you a question...what's the food like? I wasn't raised around the portuguese side of my family so I have no clue what the foods like. Plus I'm in Texas where's there's like a 0 percent population of us...:(

my #1 favorite is Italian...there is nothing like it..and thats about all i eat
but no one can substitute for French baking. Their breads and cakes and pastries are TRES BON! mais je n'aime pas les escargots!
Chinese comes in after those two. the lo mein and the fried rice with mushrooms are amazing when they are cooked right..
i cant stand most american food..even tho im american. Mcdonalds makes me barf

Agreed, especially with the escargot
:apuke:
I would say Italian, because of the wonderful variety of foods. I love garlic :hehehe:

I love the escargots... and worse, the frogs :D
I know these are the two "space"things in french food, for the rest, I won't say that I love it because I'm French and don't wont to be treated of nationalist :D ;)

Hahaha I'll agree for part of that.
What I meant by "american" food was:
Cheesburgers (not necessarily McDonalds, don't tell me that even though you hate McD's, you don't like a good ol' grilled burger).
Hot dogs
Barbecue
Pizza (albeit not 100% american, we add our own style to it)
Southwest (similar to mexican, but still a different taste overall)
etc.

Don't need to. Australian BBQs 0wnZ Texas BBQ. Why would I travel for 15,000km for inferiority? BTW, there is only one way MOST Australians know how to cook steak - charcoal. :lol2: But the rest is superb. Get to Australia, not Texas, for a good barbie.

>SilverLotus340R : j'aime bien les cuisses de grenouilles mais préfère largement d'autres plats, surtout que ce n'est pas pratique à manger ! ;)
Et oui, j'aprécie l'Orangina, mais ne suis pas amateur de sodas, les vins, ou boissons naturelles sont plus à mon goût.
Sorry for this part in French but I answer to SilverLotus :D
