PLEASE! Help me out!

I have an opportunity to purchase a 240sx for $600. Not sure on the exact year, all I know is that its an S13 hatch, the reason its cheap is because it doesn't run. I still have to take a look at it but if everything else seems to check out good on it, do any of you think that it would be a decent deal? $600 for the car and $3,000 for an SR20DET and a few other things seems alright to me, just curious as to what some other opinions are.

depends on the amount of rust...look under the car at the rails, and at the front strut housings, if there is rust in those spots...pass on it.

yea just look around for rust. other spots are the radiator support, hatch hinges, door jams...etc etc
