Just wondering what everyone's next go-fast mods will be? Also what's your next appearance mod?

b16 swap will start sometime this week if all goes well, and I'm gettin' a pair of SLR fenders in a week or two.

Probably the next mod will be a MM panhard bar followed by a catback exhaust system and maybe an aluminum driveshaft.

S-10 - headers.
Firebird - nothing for a while. It's just going to sit there in the garage looking sad because the S-10 gets all the attention. It needs new mufflers though.

Next performance modification, an engine refresh, bearings and gaskets, as well as good rings, and a 924 Turbo headgasket, and then a 100 shot of nitrous :) It's only my daily driver, after all.
As for the next body modification... Probably this wing, my current little spoiler is in ratty condition.

To answer my own question...
"A new car" is also my answer. Trying to pick up a new car this summer. BUT, if I WAS to keep my current cars...
'95 Z28 - 396 stroker build
'96 Z28 - 2" lowering and Y2k C5 rims powdercoated black

adjustable rear sway bar and anti-lift kit. there's not really anything more i want for exterior, except maybe a carbon fiber hood, but i've got more important things to do with my money.
been wanting to turbo mt car for a long time, and i'm almost ready (~mid summer). but lately i've been debating maybe a basic supercharger and a good suspension, and if i go to japan this summer, look for a good deal on a JDM 6-speed. but i've also been thinking screw the forced induction on the subaru, just put a little suspension mods in and leave it as a daily driver, and build a champion motorcars locost seven. hmm how will i decide?

An oil change, new brake pads, maybe a couple new tires if I can afford it
For real though, saving up for that SR swap. I know the SR swap has almost become cliche for 240sx owners, but my KA has seen better days. I doubt it could handle a turbo.

Well to get any real benefit from a turbo, you'd have to rebuild your KA24 anyways. I'd say the biggest benefit of going with a KA24DE turbo conversion is that you start with a fresh engine, not one that might have been running 20psi boost since it left the showroom.

The KA can make a lot of power when its turboed, but it doesnt have the characteristics of a turbo/racing engine. Power curve, wringablility, response, cooling capacity, etc. makes the SR an appropriate engine.
I like my power to fall off at the redline, not 1000 rpm before it. Thats why I would get the SR over the KA. (Though if I could save money by turboing my current KA, I would).

I'm debating either a fluid damper conversion kit (going from friction Houdaille-type shocks to tube shocks) or a lighter Fidanza flywheel. No matter what, though, the engine is getting pulled for a top-to-bottom rebuild. She won't stand for another band-aid repair.

If I keep the car: engine swap OR turbo...both if I can afford it.
If I don't keep the car: Subaru STi...AWD, 300HP, 300FT-LBS...'nuff said:D.

I have a GReddy turbo timer coming in next week. Now all I need is a turbo (not to mention the intercooler). lol. Actually some asshole paid me with a fake credit card and i didn't catch it till after i bought it so...
Anyone want a turbo timer? Brand new...
But for real, I've been saving up for a GReddy turbo w\ intercooler, (which means I've got to get an exhaust kit and a few other improvements)
and for non-performance, I'm going to get me some R1 racing seats. The seats in my Civic are so horrible on my back. Right now I have to have this cushion thing behind it when I drive or else I could send my chiropractor to Hawaii for all the visits I'm paying for to see her.

Vision: Not a damn thing. Fixed the vacuum leak and the car kicks ass for speed now, well, for its size. I am going to leave it alone for now. Other than that it needs a good cleaning inside and out.
GTC: There is a lot that is going to be done all at once to the GTC. First for go fast mods the engine will be torn apart and ALL internals will be replaced with higher forged parts. It will be balanced and blueprinted and the head will be ported and polished. Those are the first performance mods. For looks it will be a new trunk and read bumper.
