How to rebuild a caliper?

My sister's '92 Maxima needs new rear calipers (the passenger side locked up and the pistons are falling apart), but she can't afford replacements at 70 bucks each. I don't want to use junkyard brakes if I don't have to, so I decided to try my hand at rebuilding them. Is there anything special that needs done, or do I just pop out the pistons and change the seals?

scrap/salvage yard brakes are usually very good quality.. I was looking for some brake rotors and found that most cars had very new brake componets. the rest of the car was not good but the brake componets on most all looked good...I guess this is because most repair shops are looking for the 800.00 brake job.... don't make anything on pad replacement, thats why many will warrantee pads for life get you on the other more costly parts......on rebuild it is possible but if bore is rusted too badly you will have to get another.......
