Wich new model can't you wait to see?

Hi! I'm new around here, but I'd love to share my passion with every Lambo lover around. Thougth I'd start with a poll.. so tell me wich new model are you most excited about.

The Gallardo for sure, the 360 and 911/996 w/e has had it easy till now, let the baby Lambo get into the ring and knock em out. :D

yes the much anticipated Gallardo, however, a nice GT model would be very nice, and the rumors about the super Murcielago would also add to that if they are true, something to knock Ferrari off the high of the Enzo

Probably sends air to the engine, a large amount of air that is...that thing is huge. I can't wait for the Murci roadster and the Gallardo. I'm also ready to hear some more on the Ferrari 420.

I really want to see the 2003 suv!!

ANd the super murcielago...

A more performance oriented Murci would be nice i.e. ligher weight, 600bhp, mayber 2wd???

But I don't know, I like the spoiler on all Diablos but it does not look right on the Murci.

But heck why am I complaining I'll anyone period.:D

Get rid of the roof scoop and that is a nice looking Murci... For the super Murci though, I would rather see one that looks pretty stock, just small features that distinguish it from the regular Murci.

true, the scoop looks a bit weird :bloated: kinda looks like a maclaren f1 with orange coat and black wheels dont you think....;)

or the 2 scoops on the diablo SV
just for extra air for the engine




and i would love to see the final version of the murcielago roadster (hopefully with a real soft top)

a super murci would probably be something like the diablo gt

I don't know. As I posted before, I would like to see a "higher performance" murci. Maybe a bit lighter, bit more power. Perhaps something aimed directly at the Enzo or Carrera GT.

I guess a special could be a limited a edition model. One that is virtually the same but with a numbered plaque, more carbon fiber, and special color???. I like specials but would I pay a higher price for the same car with simple "bolt ons"?? No, I am not a collector in sense that I would pay for a special just to sell it two years later. I concur with that view. It'll probably be like the Diablo 6.0 SE.

As for the 'Super Murcielago' I hope they don't call it that. Murcielago GT or SV sounds a lot better. But I don't know what sort of version are planned. I think maybe a 650 hp Murcielago GT would be awesome.

I would still like to see a 2+2 GT. a sucessor to the 400GT would be sweet

I am new here, and totally new to Lamborghinis. I recently moved to San Francisco and some diode popped in my brain--I saw a classic Magnum PI Ferrari (F40?) Red, etc.. then later that week I saw a mint red Countach and remembered that I had a Hot Wheels Countach when I was a kid...anyhow I never looked more than a millisecond at a car before, now I stare...

What does GT, GTR and Roadster mean? They are standard variations of any sportscar? I think one of the Diablos is called an SV (?) or an SE (not too sure). What is the difference between the Gallardo concept and a roadster?

I think they should add bigger cylinders because hp isnt all gonna help like the zonda has around 7.3 liters and the viper has 8.0 liters, and they are pretty much almost as fast I think if the new lamborghini had 7.3= LITERS +AROUND 700HP THEN THAT WOULD BE INSANELY FAST, AND THERE WOULD BE HARDLY AND MORE CARS THAT COULD MATCH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

SV stands for Sports Vicous, named after some part of the transmission i think?

The SE 30 was the Special Edition made to celebrate the 30th anniversary of lamborghini.

Roadster is the topless version of the Diablo and soon to be topless Murcielago, although its going by the name Barchetta which means convertible.

Hp isn't exactly dependant upon the cylinder size, the storke and other factors regaridng the pistons directly must be taken into account. All keep in mind tht there are literally hundreds of factors that can affect hp, so stating that they need bigger cylinders is very broad.

BTW, the Pagani engine (s ) are both by Mercedes-Benz, so direct all suggestions to them.

Porsche is absoulutely right. Remember there are a number of cars that have relatively small displacments or cylinder "size" but put out high BHP numbers.

SV really stands for Sport Veloce ... it's a lighter, 2 wheel drive version... the viscous part comes from the four wheel drive VT (Viscous Traction).

but all those cars you named arent really even fast i think they are kind of too slow for that price, well this is just my opinion.

do you know what a tuscan is?

do you know what it costs
do you know how fas and handle it is?

pennyho you sound like a cost watch guy, if a Ferrari costs $200k or w/e and can hit only 180mph you say that's slow for the price? I think you're basing this on buying a Corvette or Viper and throwing a load of crap in performance into the engine, sure they'll be fast and I know Lingenfelter and Hennessey (sp?) will pop up but do they have the same kind of appeal as a Ferrari or Porsche or Lamborghini? IMHO no, they're just tuned up cars not sportscars. People will agree and disagree and even agree to disagree, everyone has an opinion, noone is right and noone is wrong, you just have to respect that persons opinion.

Just like I know what you're saying and agree and understand what you're saying but at the same time disagree with all you say.

What are you smoking. A 360 slow? A Tuscan slow?? A an S2000 expensive?? An M3 is a bit on the expensive side but it is one the best all around cars money can buy. You put in through its paces on a track day and then go pick up your kid from day care.

TVR's make some of the fastest cars in the world, especially when speaking relative to their displacement. A TVR Cerbera 4.5 V8 caught the Murci on a straight in the December Top Gear Magazine. Your talking a 4.5L V8, that is not very large engine.

Also anyone hear that Fiat are in deep and are considering selling off a huge chunk of their empire that includes Fiat, Ferrari and Maserati and VW are supposedly the top runners.

GTi many a journalist have said the Murciélago handles extremely well in fact I remember one saying it's a drivers car!! Though Tiff Needell [the master himself] said it felt to restrictive sometimes and preferred the unpredictability of the Diablo.
