Smiths Cabac Milk Float

Here's something a little different....not built by myself, but by a pal of mine who's not computer-literate!
It's a 1/24 scale replica of a Smiths Cabac Milk Float. The wheels, rear axle, steering wheel and a few other bits were spare parts from other kits but it's mostly scratch built. The one thing he remembers most about this build was the 'fun' evening spent with styrene rod and a pencil sharpener....guess which parts he was making? :screwy:
Enough talk, here's the pics. Enjoy....

 Bloody brilliant!
Very refreshing to see something different and creative for a change
Tell me, do these things still whine and clink around the UK? Or are they dead nowadays in the age of the supermarket? (I hope not :D)

Excellent work.Brings back fond memories of the one that used to deliver down my street.Sadly you don't see them as much nowadays,I think maybe Klutz_100 is partially correct and the supermarket has, to some extent killed off the old milk float.

They're a dying breed now, but you do sometimes still see them - usually when you're in a hurry and there's nowhere to overtake!

They're a dying breed now...
There must be a few very frustrated housewives in the UK in that case - unless the postman has taken over where he left off... ;)
