98 Civic DX antenna replacement problems

Anyone know how to thread a new antenna line down through the window post? The previous owner removed the wire after the antenna broke, so I do not have any existing line to help thread new line. I have tried guiding a coat hanger down through post, but it keeps hitting something. I took plastic panel off of the driver side to see through dash frame, but I can't see much.
