Hoffman Estates, IL check in ya'll

Hey wassup import maniacs
recently i started going to the McDonalds parking lot every friday night near the corner of Barrington and Lake st. in Hoffman Estates, theres a looooooot of cars there. Anything from Supras to Evo's to BMW's to hondas, Mustangs and firebirds. Its pretty dope. If anyone here goes to those meetings shout out. For those of you who didn't know abt this, show up, altough the parking lot is not big enuff anymore :)

Last week one of my buddies with a VW Corrado G60 supercharged went to race some dude in a Red RX-7 '95 on the highway, i was there, me and about 10 cars followed them on the 290, they didnt actually get to race cuz the RX-7 fell back cuz of a red light, but after we were cruising on the highway for abt 2 mins all of a sudden the RX-7 Zooms past us with 160MPH, it was insane, we were going 90 and it seemed like we were going in reverse :D :D

sounds tight, me and my boys are always up at value city on the fridays and sat nights, but its been to damn cold, im waiting for spring to pop up.

i was there last fri man, it was cold but htere were still around 50 cars, it was dopee

Damn Mellowboy you are right, dont you remember the good old days of last summer when it never got boring, everyone was up there cruizen around and having a grand ol' time, gettin ran out by the cops, checkin out all the rides, aaaah those were the days

i was preoccupied with work and going to the beach last summer, this summer ill spend more time cruisin' and meeting with car fans

Nah it was last year that got me thinkin that it got boring haha. Even if theres alot of cars i'm not just gonna sit there. I'm not gonna go to any import shows anymore cause they are all the same man. It just the samething over and over haha:)

I guess its like a magazine, you pick one up with interest, and 2 hours and 3 magazines later you've had enuff of supras and altezzas and poioneer decks and rims and turbos and everything :)
yeah i think the meetings should have an actual purpose other than to sit there and talk abt whos got what, maybe race, or cruise from point A to point B so regular ordinary earthilings can see our cars hehe :D

heres a thought, how about for all you people 18 and over we have a meet at Route 66 in joliet and we can race at the test and tunes, that would give meaning to a meet, and it would be fun as hell, its 20 bux for all day as much as you want. ITs fun as hell.

Sounds like a good plan. It depends on the day though.

yes there is such a heaven. it is in joliet, about an hour and a half away from hoffmann and shaumburg, its 20 dollars for a minimum of 3 laps, there is no maximum

yeah they start up the open races on April 5th and run once a week on tuesdays, there is one monday on the schedule. You have to be 18 otherwise mommy or daddy have to go to the track with you and sign some junk.

hey whats up guys me and my buddy are up there every Fri and Sat night he's got a 2000 black acura integra GS-R Type-R look alike and I have the 1990 Green Acura Integra and some people are there like a VW GTI Red, VW Corrida Red, Dodge Shadow Purple this is not a car to fuck with no joke, and an S2000.

I drive a 91 civic si not many mods yet, all i have is a 91 integra ecu, Apexi Dunk exhaust, front lower and upper, rear upper stru bar, short ram intake which is about to get put away to make room for my AEM CAI nkg spark plugs and blue wires. I have the head powder coated red to match the car color

no we have not set a date yet but if you go to www.route66raceway.com and look at the test and tune list, we can all name dates that we are free and go from there.

Man i'm goin to the track when it opens up. I might be goin during the weekdays cause man the weekends is crowded!!!

Yeah im available any tuesdays as well, except for next week cuz im goin to canada, but i doubt it will be warm enuff by then to go racing :)

i heard from a friend who knows ppl that they are gonna be shootin a movie this friday night, its like an amateur thing, im not even sure how serious it is and what kinda equipment they gonna use. Maybe they will just shoot all the italian ppl doing burnouts in front of hte cinema in addison..... but anyways, look for a camera and show off you stuff ;)

Wanna have fun try to run from Chicago Po-po's? Head to Doty Rd for the races.

I think its also because they know thats where people go to set up races and crap like that..... But who knows whats this about Doty road??

you have to expeirence Doty Rd for yourself if its still the same. I havent been down there in a few yrs.

Its crazy a couple hundred people standing around watching the races & then po-po's come rollin' in & everyone takes off. 10 mins later all back on the same street racing, cops come & chase everyone out & it keeps going like that all night/morning. Only a few slow/dumb people get caught. Just watch out there are lots of drunks hangin there & racing. I saw some stupid ass dude on a bike, chick on back. Neither has helmets on, just tank tops & shorts -- anyways dude was showing off doing some wheelies @ 100mph or so & then bam smacked right into a tree.

I dont know if the crashed killed him or the people that started to beat his ass from being a complete moron. There are some crazy people there.

Holy hell i think u convinced me not to go there sounds way to dangerouse and risky im not about to get caught or F my shit up you know what im sayin.

One time the cops broke glass all down the street they race on . . .one guy had a broom in his truck & started sweeping away, LMAO. Another time they pulled a train locomotive at the one end and 10 cops rolled up from the other end, they all got busted that night.

God damn what a buncha morons for goin back... no affense if u were there or kept goin but seriously why? if ur gunna get caught u know. I know for the adrenaline and crap but sometimes its just not worth it.

I've only been there a few times a few years back. The only racing I do now is legal on a race track & if im watching its on TV or @ the track. Street racing gets lame too much talk & sitting around :bigthumb:
