Overheating But The Radiator Does Not Get Hot!!!

Can any one help? i have a vs commodore that over heats, the radiator(brand new) stays cold but the notor you could fry an egg on. ive been told its got a warped or cracked head, ive also listened to my motor and it makes slight scraping noises on driver side where spark plugs are, Are those people right? other wise no probs

sounds like a busted hose, you don't want your engine siezing up on you i'd take it back to your mechanic to get it looked at.

stupid question but is there any water in the radiator? can you see the water when you open the cap up?

blocked thermostat is also a common problem.
