rear heater line leaking

1999 T&C the rear heater line is leaking underneath the car. Fluid lines start metal, have a hose section, and return to metal. A plastic connector (an L shapped connector) between the metal and hose section is leaking - probably cracked. The plastic fitting seens to have some type of quick connect at the attachment to the metal fluid line - anybody know how to remove this fitting so I can replace it?
