Electrical problems 96 Astro 4,3 AWD

Hi.
I have a problem with my 96'Astro and hope you can help me with this one: The fuel pump (http://www.2carpros.com/forum/here-vp203409.html#) did not start at all, so I replaced it ( because I was told this was a common problem with this cars (http://www.2carpros.com/forum/here-vp203409.html#), and the car started when spraying motorstarter). The fuel pump still did not start so I started to look for problems with the fuel pump relay. I can not messure power on any of the pins, but the fuel pump starts when making a shortcut for the battery to the fuel pump wire (grey) I suppose i should have messured power on the orange wire but I do not. When adding power from the battery to the orange wire on the relay, the fuelpump seems to run like it should. Also my wife tells me that when she changed lights form blend to full the engine almost stopped and the engine warning lamp blinked. This tells me that it probably is some bad connections or a bad switch somewhere, but where should I start looking? Since we are living in Norway, the support here is not so good. :banghead:

The orange wire at the relay should be hot all the time, if it isn't, that will lead back to a fuse.

Also the green wire with white tracer should be hot with the engine cranking.

The ECMB fuse should be for the orange wire. That fuse may be located in the PDC under the hood.

I have now checket out the ECM B fuse and this is OK, but there is no power on this fuse. When I add power to this fuse from the battery everything works just fine. Do you know if there is some other fuses before the ECM B fuse. Can you please explain wht you mean with PDC? The ECM B fuse is locaded under the dashboard.

I found the problem, it was a contact that was burned where the battery cable was connencted to the fusebox. this was the contact for a common positive wire to the fusebox. (Nr 3 from left in a contact.)

The PDC is power distribution center. My information suggested there may be one. I wasn't sure. It would be a plastic box under the hood that holds fuses and relays.
