Coolant Pouring From Transmission?

I have a 96 Taurus. Today, when I parked it and got out, I noticed that coolant was pouring from under the motor.

I crawled under the front of the car and had my wife pour water into the expansion tank. Almost immediately, water pours from where the transmission bolts to the motor (on the underside of this area). There is a tiny hole under the starter that is also dripping water.

I looked around, but could not find that a freeze plug or hose from above this area that was leaking and causing the water to run down to this area (this is what I suspected).

Any ideas on where this leak is originating?

I checked my transmission fluid and oil, but did not see any signs of coolant in either.

Thanks for any help.

Not sure about Fords, (That's why I'm browsing this section.) but often times there's a drain plug (or 2) on the block behind the flywheel. Heck of alot of work to replace a $2 part. If you maintain a good mix of antifreeze and H2O. Your freeze plugs shouldn't ever go bad. Straight H2O will rust them out pretty quickly though.

Huh? Can't belive in all the time I've spent here that this is my 1st post. lol Guess I'm mostly a lurker.
