'99 3.1 cranks no start

My sisters just replaced her multifunction switch and thermostat. now her car won't start. it cranks, but there are no waring lights in the dash before she starts up and it won't start. Her ABS light has flashed sometimes, but very dimmly. I don't know if it has spark or fuel, I am a couple hours away.

I saw someone who had this same problem in 2003, but he didn't post a fix.:headshake

if there are no lights on the dash (like service engine soon light, security light, abs light) then the ignition is not energized- as in the ignition switch may be bad... confirm that no lights come on before going further...........

if it was the starter youd hear a click...it seems like the fuel pump see if it engages u should hear a hum when u put the key into the position before turning it try that...
